As part of our ongoing commitment to creating an inclusive and accessible experience for all fans, we are excited to introduce our new initiative: Venue Accessibility Guide. This guide is designed to ensure that fans with diverse accessibility requirements can fully enjoy their experience during events at the Waikato Regional Theatre.
These guides are made from a comprehensive and diverse list of questions relating to the accessibility of the events at Waikato Regional Theatre. These guides will play a vital role in the purchase experience, as fans requesting accessible tickets often need to pre-plan their experiences in detail to ensure they can navigate any potential barriers and fully enjoy the event. Early planning is crucial to making the necessary accommodations and ensuring enjoyable experience for all fans.
Our accessibility team, in partnership with consultants from Dylan Alcott’s Get Skilled Access, have developed an online client intake form to gather the necessary information to create these guides. Your responses will directly influence how we tailor our services to promote a welcoming and accessible environment. The form includes questions about various aspects of Waikato Regional Theatre, such as parking, seating, restrooms, and emergency procedures, among others.
